DS80PCI810 in PCIe Gen2 application- Schematic Review

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS80PCI810

Hello Team,

Our customer face the issue that when the DS80PCI810 ReDriver is used in their PCIe Gen2 application, no link is established and they don't see any link activity. They measure a differential voltage swing of 800mV  after the cable and before the redriver in the downstream path. After the redriver the signal becomes worse.

The same board with COMe Module works without issue. It also works without the redriver.

There are two DS80PCI810 redriver in the x4 path. In the downstream path  the port A  and in the upstream path the port B is used. The unused other ports are unconnected.

The DS80PCI810 working in Pin-Mode.

The settings used are:

ENSMB = 0 (PIN MODE)

SD_TH = F

RXDET = F

PWDN = 0

RESERVED2 = 0

RESERVED3 = 0

RESERVED1 = F

VODB1 = 1

VODB0 = 0

PCIE_SEL= 0

VODA1 = 1

VODA0 = 0

VDD_SEL = F

AD2 = 0

EQA = 0

EQB = 0

Can you help with the schematic review? Please let me know to whom should I send the schematic.

Best regards,

Mizanur
