Can a TUSB9261 be used as a USB peripheral device?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB9261

Hello all,

I'm currently looking for USB peripheral controllers that can support up to USB high-speed at both ends (not throttled by SPI or I2C).

I've only found a couple of PCIe-to-USB devices, but they're essentially EoL.

Looking at the TUSB9261 it's more suited for USB-to-SATA, but it does mention that it supports HID class devices and the relevant interrupts.

Therefore, with a suitable driver, could this be run 'backwards' as a USB peripheral controller, i.e. SATA-to-USB instead?

Regards,

Simon
