DS90UB91xQ - 8 bit support

Hi,

Please let me know, if this SERDES Device "DS90UB91xQ" (DS90UB913Q and DS90UB914Q) can support 8 bit video data format ?

Hello Vijay,

Please refer to older E2E posts which have asked this question in the past (listed below for your reference). Typically, the answer is yes if the data you are sending is in RAW format. There are certain other data formats that are not supported depending upon encoding.

If you are sending only 8 bits of RAW formatted data, than the other LVCMOS parallel input/output lines that are not in use can be left floating.
