Hi Team

We test TI SN65LVPE502A usb redriver.

We setting DE to Low ( -6db ) , The 5G LFPS peak - peak differential output voltage is 734mV.

The Pass spec is 800mV to 1.2V.

I have try to setting OS to 1324mV , but it can not pass.

so we try to setting DE ==> NC , LFPS voltage is 1V .

What setting ( EQ / DE / OS ) will be effect LFPS voltage ?

Hello Kerr,

This is a known issue, in fact we do not recommend this re-driver for new designs (the status change is in process), please replace the SN65LVPE502A using the TUSB522, which one of our newest re-drivers and fixes all the issues we found on our previous re-drivers (like 502 & 512).

Sorry , We can not use TUSB522P. because we did not have pullup resistor on EN_RXD pin.

TI another redriver have Internally pulled VCC , but TUSB522 did not have Internally pull up.

Hello kerr,

In this case I recommend to use the SN65LVPE512, this should fix the issue with LFPS signals. However the best option is the TUSB522P.
