DS25C400 spike endure capability

Dear Team:

 Our customer used DS25C400, and needs hot plug in/ out.

Right now they measured spike (6V, 40ns) as hot plug in/ out. Whether DS25C400 can endure  spike (6V, 40ns)?

    Hi Thomas,

    This device is currently obsolete, and I have not been able to find more information with our internal databases about this device aside from what is in the datasheet. I unfortunately could not find a quantitative description of hot plug protection aside from it being mentioned on Page 1 of the datasheet.

    Due to us not having detailed information about this device in our database, we will need to rely on the customer to perform evaluation of this spike to determine if the DS25C400 is suitable.
