We have used DS125MB203 to mux two SFP+ transceiver modules for failsafe mode and normal mode.
In normal mode , two transceivers are connected to FPGA through DS125MB203 and in fail safe mode we used the following path
D_IN1 ---(int)---> S_OUTB1 --(ext)---> S_INB0 --(int)--> D_OUT0
D_IN0 ---(int)---> S_OUTB0 --(ext)---> S_INB1 --(int)--> D_OUT1
the issue is none of the configurations are working.
By reading some threads in the forum, I found out that there should be AC coupling caps between the loopback path. Unfortunately we have not inserted AC coupling paths in loopback path. So that might be the issue for failsafe path.
But for the normal mode we have inserted AC coupling caps between FPGA and DS125MB203. But We did not insert any AC coupling caps between SFP+ module and DS125MB203.
Do we need t insert any AC coupling caps between SFP+ module and DS125MB203 ?
