Hi Team,

My customer considers to use SN65DSI85 with "Two Single-Channel DSI to Two Single-Link LVDS Operating Mode".
Can SN65DSI85 route the following 3 cases?

1) two channel outputs are different
DSI channel-A → LVDS channel-A
DSI channel-B → LVDS channel-B

2) two channel outputs are different -swap-
DSI channel-A → LVDS channel-B
DSI channel-B → LVDS channel-A

3) two channel outputs are the same (both from DSI channel-A)
DSI channel-A → LVDS channel-A and LVDS channel-B

Best Regards,
Yaita / Japan disty

  • Hello Yaita,

The DSI85 support Single DSI Input to Dual-Link LVDS and Dual DSI Input (Odd/Even) to Dual-Link. The LVDS Channel A and Channel B can be swapped by setting the 0x1A.6 EVEN_ODD_SWAP bit. When EVEN_ODD_SWAP is set Odd pixels routed to LVDS Channel B and Even pixels routed to LVDS Channel A.
