Hi,

I have tried to search for an FDR InfiniBand Redriver/Repeater without luck.

Can i use the DS280BR810 for FDR InfiniBand application?
Alternative is there any solution(redriver/repeater) which could be suitable for FDR InfiniBand application?

Hi Kostas,

Yes the DS280BR810, DS280BR820, and DS280MB810 can be used to help compensate for attenuation losses in a FDR Infiniband application.

To be more precise, are the three repeaters compatible with 56Gb/s FDR InfiniBand application? Their datasheet don't state about InfiniBand hence my question.

Hi Kostas

The repeaters are protocol agnostic. They are analog devices only capable of individual differential pair datarates up to 28 Gbps with NRZ signaling. The FDR 56 Gbps specification uses 4 lanes, each operating at just over 14 Gbps.
