TUSB501/551 application question?

Hi Sir

  1. Tablet上 USB3.0 use cable/FPC & pogo pin connect to Docking station for IO extender ,

currently plan to use single channel re-driver (2* TUSB501 or 2* TUSB551)put 2 devices  in (Tx on Tablet;Rx on dock)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

for above application, may you suggest Re-driver use single channel or dual channel(TUSB551 or 501)? where is the best location we can place?

For USB 3.1 Gen 1(5GT/s) spec swing voltage 0.8V ≦V-diff≦1.2V, if TUSB501 already over spec(1300mV)?

 

  1. TUSB501  spec(Figure 1) mention jitter and loss compensation and test criteria, but  TUSB551 have no,

  if TUSB551 have relate  jitter and trace/cable loss compensation data?what is spec?

     or if there have other suggestion solution?
