Can the TPD12S521 TMDS channels be swapped with each other?

They have been ordered  and named to make straight through routing of a type A HDMI connector simple. However I am designing a PCB which uses a type D HDMI connector where the pin ordering is different. I may therefore want to swap the TMDS channels with each other to make routing easier. Are they all just identical?

    All of the TMDS line protection is identical, so it does not matter which lane you use for which channels. The only important thing is that you keep the differential lines together to help with your signal integrity, but other than that feel free to swap the TMDS lines however is easiest for your layout!
