Do you we have any documents about the relationship among the output cability, cable distortion and IC EQ abiity?

Customer want some document to analysis first. Thanks.

    Hi Derek,

    Maximum EQ for TMDS171 is 16.5dB, the input cable length will depend on the cable loss.
    TMDS171 has retimer capabilities which will clean jitter above 1MHz
    Again output length will depend on the output swing(which you can tweak) cable loss and receiver EQ capabilities.
    Unfortunately we don't have precise number about cable lengths.
