Dears,

I used DP83849I with AVAGO optical transceiver module, If I connected the RX of A, and whether I connected the TX of A or B,the LED of the module A will on.Module B is the same as A.Sometimes there were no connection on either A or B,the LED would be on too.

How about this?Why?There's my schematic.

What part are you using?
DP83849I does not support Fiber.

The DP83849IF does though. Can you show me what you mean by the above statements in a block diagram of the connections. I am having a difficult time following.

Hi Ross,
The block diagram is as above.Sometimes there is no connection on either A or B,the LED would be on too.

Hello,

There are two types of LEDs on the schematics, LINK LED and ACTIVITY LED. Which LED would is on? Also, what is connected on the cable side of Avago fiber transceiver?

Hi,

Are you using the Signal Detect pin from the fiber transceiver?
Have you scoped out the SD pin from the transceiver to see how this pin behaves?
