Hi,
Type C spec shows VCONN power 1W is enough. Why VCONN power switch integrated by TPS65982 could stand 600mA? How we definite this 600mA value?
Regards
David
Hi David,
As per the USB PD specification, VCONN power can be way higher that 1W for VCONN powered alternate mode accessories. Thats the reason we support upto 600mA through VCONN.
Thanks,
Rahul
