With the TCA8418E set up for keypad scan mode, is it possible to set up the TCA8418E to send out an interrupt only after a certain number of keypad events have occurred, like 3 key presses and releases? This would help reduce the amount of host processing to service the interrupts.
By the way, what does "maximum rate" mean in this statement from the TCA8418E data sheet description.
