Hi Team,

There is short circuit output current (Ios) specification of driver under Vo=0V.
Is threre short circuit output current under Vo=13.2V (abs max of drivers output voltage)?

    Yaita,

    RS-232 driver can short to ground or to other RS-232 drivers safely.
    There is no ensured safety for shorting to an immovable +/-13.2V, It won't break immediately and I do expect current will be less than 60mA. There is a current limit circuit in the drivers.
