Hi team,
When my customer performed Revision 3.1 USB Command Verifier Compliance Test on TUSB8041,
TD9.1Device Descriptor test became fail. The fail statement was as follows:
「Now Starting Test: TD 9.1 Device Descriptor Test - Device State Default
Start time: Fri Dec 16 15:00:36 2016
Device descriptor length : 0x12
Device descriptor type : 0x01
DUT declares that it is USB version 3.00 (bcdUSB = 0x0300).
(9.6.1.1) The descriptor returned in response to a GetDescriptor(Device)
request must return the value of 0x0310 in the bcdUSB field for Enhanced
SuperSpeed devices
The customer wants to know bcdUSB register address in oder to set the register to 0x0310.
So, please let me know the address.
I think the customer can use TUSB8041 as usb 3.1 Gen1 hub device.
Because the differnce between USB3.0 and USB3.1 Gen1 is only the power supply capability to the cable
and this difference is irrelevant to TUSB8041. Is this correct? Please let me know.
Best regards,
