Hi,
The data sheet for PCF8575 mentions 300ns as the max rise time at 400khz I2C clock. What is the rise time when the clock is 100Khz? Will it still be 300ns at 100khz?

Hi Sendhil,
The rise time in your application will be dependent on your loading conditions. The 300ns rise time is the maximum allowable by the I2C specification. It does not describe the behavior of the PCF8575.

Above is a link to the I2C specification. On page 32 it gives the maximum allowable rise time for a 100kHz Standard Speed - 1000ns.
