DS92LV2412 / PCB DAP size

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS92LV2412, DS92LV2411

Hi all.

I have one question about DS92LV2412.
Please check Table 16 in the datasheet of DS92LV2411/DS92LV2412.

There is discribed the PCB DAP size of DS92LV2412 is 7.2 *7.2 mm in Table 16.
However DS92LV2412 PCB size is 6.3*6.3 mm in P.53.

Is 7.2mm Typo? Which size is correct?

I think the following size is corrct.
2411=5.1mm
2412=6.3mm
Is my understanding correct?

Best Regards,
Sho

  • Hi all.

    How about my question?

I am repeatedly pressed by my customer.

Sorry I would like to get your opinion as soon as possible.

    Please help us.

    Best Regards,
    Sho

  • Hi Ogane-san,

Sorry for the delay in response. We have been delayed due to many of us being out for the New Year's holiday.

Regarding your question, you are correct. The DS92LV2411 DAP pad is 5.1 x 5.1 mm and the DS92LV2412 DAP pad is 6.3 x 6.3 mm. I have confirmed this with our device specification. The NKB specification is correctly shown on p. 53, and Table 16 is a typo.

    Thanks,

    Michael
  • Hi Michael san

    Thank you for your reply.
    I understod the following,
    The DS92LV2411 DAP pad is 5.1 x 5.1 mm and the DS92LV2412 DAP pad is 6.3 x 6.3 mm.

So Please tell me the following correct value of DS92LV2411 and DS92LV2412?

    Stencil DAP Aperture

    Number of DAP Aperture Openings

    Gap Between DAP Aperture

    Best regards,
    Sho

  • Hi Ogane-san,

The correct values for the DS92LV2411 are the same as what is shown on the DS92LV242x datasheet:

For the DS92LV2412, since the DAP size is 6.3mmx6.3mm and based on the recommended land pattern in the datasheet, I suggest the following:

    Stencil DAP Aperture: 1.3mm x 1.3mm

Number of DAP Aperture Openings: 16

    Gap Between DAP Aperture: 0.3mm

    Thanks,

    Michael
