Team, can you help my customer with the following question:

We are looking at a device that has a single 4 lane MIPI DSI interface.

I am trying to figure out if I can drive two LVDS displays with a single MIPI interface

I see the SN65DSIx6 MIPI® DSI to eDP™ Bridge part on your website. Can I drive two displays with this part?

I would also like to drive one LVDS and one eDP or two eDP if possible, not sure if I can do it but I also noticed this part. SN65DSI86 Dual-Channel MIPI® DSI to Embedded DisplayPort™ (eDP ) Bridge.

Do you think I could use any of these parts?

Hello Viktorija,

The DSI86 is not able to drive two displays.

Take a look at the SN65DSI84 which is a single DSI channel to dual LVDS bridge. This device has a mode where Channel A will output the Odd pixels and Channel B the Even pixels, therefore, depending on your GPU output date you will able to drive to two displays with a single DSI channel.
