My customer is using In on of their projects SN65DSI83 as MIPI-DSI to LVDS bridge and wants to interface it with Qualcomm APQ8009 chipset.
I’ve attached the image of the DSI specifications of APQ8009 which has MIPI-Phy version upto 0.90 and MIPI-DSI version 1.01.
The SN65DSI83 supports version MIPI-Phy 1.00 and MIPI-DSI is 1.02. they want to specifically know is if SN65DSI83 can be interfaced with APQ8009 which essentially means whether DSI versions are backward compatible.
