DS110DF111: DS110DF111 pin control mode

Hi Team,

my customer would like to use the DS110DF111 in pin control mode and operates at 10.3125Gbps.

in the datasheet, page 4, it only mentioned that "when in pin control mode the DS110DF111 device operates at 1.25 and 10.3125Gbps and has limited VOD and De-Emphasis control". Does this mean that we do not need to set any thing and it will default operate at 1.25 and 10.3125Gbps?

Or do we need to select it to either 1.25Gbps or 10.3125Gbps (Can't find any hardware setting to do this)

    Hello Sai Loo,

    The default data rate of the DS110DF111 is 10.3125Gbps and 1.25Gbps so no settings need to be changed in order to lock to these data rates. For all other data rates refer to "7.5.1.11 Rate and Subrate Setting" of the DS110DF111 datasheet.
