TPS2544: TPS2544 as DCP: DP_OUT and DM_OUT pins floating or grounded?

Part Number: TPS2544

Hi,

I'm planning to use the TPS2544 as a DCP controller (no CDP). I prefer this chip to other options since it changes between modes automatically, even between Divider1 and Divider2. Since I wont be using pins 2 and 3, respectively DM_OUT and DP_OUT, should I leave them floating (no harm comes from this) or can I connect them to ground for better heat dissipation to the PCB (and added ESD protection)?

My configuration is: CTL1=0; CTL2=0; CTL3=1; ILIM_SEL=1. I have a 22.6K resistor connected to ILIM_HI and no resistor connected to ILIM_LO.

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards, Samuel Lourenço
