Our system is going to be using the DS250DF810's. Line cards will have either two or four parts. In a test fixture, we normally loop ports port-to-port. If we do this with the line cards with the retimers, we would have teo retimers connected in series. We are not convinced that this is a good idea, will this create too much jitter?
