Generating high slew rate pulse using digital pot.

Hi there,

For a certain application I need to generate control pulse which has following criterion

1.The pulse frequency should be controllable (upto 50KHZ)

2.The width of the pulse should be controllable

3.voltage level of the pulse should be controllable ( around 0-2V)

I have attached hand written diagram .

P.S I'm new to this  area and any suggestions would be really helpful

Thank you

  • Manjunath,

I'm moving this post to the I2C forum. Digital poteniometers like the TPL0401 are supported through the I2C forum (even if the poteniometer is controlled through SPI).

There might be a product supported within the Clock and Timing Forum that might suit your needs, but I'm not well versed on their product line. You may also want to post there with your specifications to see if they have a solution
