DS92LV2411, DS92LV2412 / some question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS92LV2412, DS92LV2411

Hi all,

I have two questions about this device.

1. about Deserializer
There are only the wave standard values of VTH/VTL and VCM in datasheet,
so i would like to know other standards value(for example jitter,Rise/Fall time,Hi/Low Limit and RxIN_TOL etc.)

2.about mask test of eyediagram
I would like to get muskdata for 9MHz.(each coordinate are OK)
If you don't have it, other case is OK,

Sorry, I would like to get this data as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Sho

  • Hi Sho,

The information that you are requesting can be found in the DS92LV2411/DS92LV2412 datasheet. Please refer to the following sections / pages for the specifications that you need.

    1) The deserializer switching times that you are referring to are included in section 7.11 (page 20) of the datasheet.

    2) Please refer to Figure 16 on page 18 of the datasheet for the eye diagram.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

    Thank you,
    Ryan
  • Hi Ryan san

I have four questions about eye diagram of DS92LV2411/DS92LV2412.
    Please check the file attached.
I would like to get the standard values.

    Best Regards,
    Sho

  • Ogane-san,

Thank you for your follow-up questions. With the additional information you have provided, I am better able to understand your questions.

    1) The deserializer does not have specifications for the rise and fall time because these are highly dependent on the material and layout of the PCB, as well as the type and length of cable used.   Typical values are provided in the datasheet for the serializer rise and fall times.

2), 3) 4) All of these questions refer to the mask. The mask is dependent on the requirements of the standard that you are using.  Do you have a mask for the standard you will use?

To get an idea of the deserializer tolerance to jitter, you can refer to the input jitter tolerance specification.
This value is derived from characterization data while applying a sinusoidal noise source.

What stage are you in the development of your project? Are you selecting devices, completing schematic and layout, or debugging hardware?

    Regards,

    Ryan
