whai is exactly a HDMI hider? Is it a buffer or is it more/different? I am unsure if it can work as I intend it too: I have a DVI connector on a small daughterboard and I have to route TMDS signas to an FPGA, via FMC connector and a few inches (5 or 6) of PCB traces. Do I need a buffer on the daughterboard PCB or can I route the DVI signals directly to the FMC connector and from there to the FPGA? If I do need a buffer, will the TMDS141 do the job?
