Hi E2E,

My system has 2 levels hop. i.e. TX ->  RX/TX  -> RX/TX (3 units connected).

There are I2C slaves with the same initial ID in each unit and I want to access them from the 1st TX.

-Can I achieve this through the use of registers "SLAVE_ID[7:0] " and SLAVE_ALIAS_ID[7:0]?

(ref: registers 0x07, 0x08, 0x70, 0x71, .....  page 60 in data sheet)

-Should the TX EX devices in repeat mode or not?

    Hi E2E Members,

    Anyone can shed some light?
    BTW I have DS90UB947 and DS90UB948 EVM up and running. I tried matched and unmatched repeater mode between RX-TX pair. I am not able to observe any difference when I change the repeater mode.
