LVDS connector is compliance to can be used as SATA HDD/SSD cable?

I got a strange question and I hope that this is the right forum to ask it.

I'd like to know if this kind of connector is compliance with LVDS or SATA spec.

This cable is installed inside a mini-PC and it is used to connect the mainboard to a 2,5" SSD or HDD drive.

After some test we found that this cable is not "stable" and after some searching on the web I don't find any of similar so, I suppose that the supplier do an improper use of a LVDS connector.

So, my question is if an LVDS connector is able to transport the voltage and the data to can connect an hard drive.

We got some problem with this cable and my way is to replace it with another one.
