TPS65983: Intel Apex Creek

Part Number: TPS65983

Hi Team,

Can you please confirm if I have the latest versions of the following documents:

1)      TPS6598x Application Customization Tool version 2.10

2)      Firmware Base Image: tps65983_v0003.61.00.bin

3)      Project template file.  I’m targeting Intel Apex Creek v2.65.  That’s a 2-port device sourcing 5V/3A power (profile 2).  The tpl file included with the installation (“TPS65983_Intel_apex_creek_v2_10.tpl”) appears for be for schematic v2.1.  That’s a downrev’d version and significant changes have occurred since then affecting power.  However, the User’s Guide mentions, “tps65983_Intel_Apex_Creek_2.6.tpl”, saying it’s for “Apex Creek version 2.6”.  That’s not quite the most recent version but I believe it should be OK since I don’t think significant changes have occurred since.  

Can you please attach the latest files if they are available?

    Hi Nabeel,

    The latest files can be found on the TPS65983 mysecuresoftware site. If your customer needs access they can request it using the link at the top of the TPS65983 Product Folder. After they have access they can access it at any time via their mysecuresoftware area of ti.com.

    At the time of this post the latest files are:

    1) TPS65983_configuration_utility_v2.14
    2) tps65983_v0004.25.00.bin
    3)template project file: TPS65983_Intel_apex_creek_v2_14.tpl
