TPS65986: TID?

Are you referring to a TI Design? I'm not sure what you are referring to with TID.

This is not related to IC manufacturing quality.

The Test ID (TID) is assigned by the OUTSIDE testing agency that TI used to certify compliance of the TPS65986 to the USB standard.

For instance, the TPS65982 is found in the USB PD integrator list, having TID 1097076. But there is no listing for the TPS65986.

Our customer needs the TID assignment to complete their own certification efforts.

Please find out who tested the TPS65986 and what the assigned TID is.

The TID for the TPS65986 is the same as the TID for the TPS65982. TID# 1097076.

This is not correct. According to USB IF, every unique silicon part number requires a TID.

This issue has been elevated internally.
