Hi Team,

customer is query if the SN65DP159 has HDMI2.0B compliance?

Note, since the product data sheet only shown the device support HDMI2.0a Transmitter Electrical Parameters up to 6-Gbps but no any information shown the HDMI2.0B? Please advise. Thanks.

Hello,
Can you elaborate more on the specific needs?
Sometimes a Device may not have a HDMI 2.0b compliance mark but it may meet what Customer needs.

Yes DP159 pass HDMI2.0 compliance testing.

Is customer having compliance issues?

Hi Arthur,

DP159 only deals with the signals at electrical level(data rate, skew, jitter, voltage levels), and there is a small snooping of TMDS CLOCK RATIO, from HDMI2.0 to HMDI2.0B these parameters haven't changed, so, DP159 is still compliant for HDMI2.0B

HDMI2.0B has changes in protocol level, but Dp159 doesn't deal with that layer.
