TPS65982: I2C Timeout Period

Hi Team,

My customer found I2C Timeout Period changed to 200ms from 50ms(default value) in version 2.12.
Is there any background?
Do you recommend 200ms if he uses TPS65982 with Alpine Ridge?

    Hello Yaita-san,

    The I2C timeout period is only looked at when initially programming the device. Sometimes if the I2C period is set to fast, the programmer will not load the code correctly. This is more prevalent when using the FTDI programmer as it is much slower. When using the Aardvark to program, this is not so much a problem as it is much faster. However, setting this to 200mS will always be a safe value.
