TMDS361B: HPD switch time from I2C command

Hi Team,

My customer uses I2C command to control TMDS361B, not S1, S2. And they want to know HPD switch time from I2C command send from EP.

1. Switch event timing on I2C

Figure 3 in this datasheet shows switch time from S1 and S2 transition. Which timing will be trigger of the Ch change when controling by I2C?
I expect to be either "Slave's ACK" or "STOP bit" but I'm not sure.

2. Max time of Ch switching by I2C
Figure 3 in this datasheet shows switch time from S1 and S2 transition but there are no timing data when controlling by I2C.
Don't you have Max time of Ch switching when I2C command is use for controlling?

Hi Takashi-san,

I took quick measurements of Ts1 and Ts2 when changing port via I2C.

I just wrote 0x10 or 0xD0 to register 0x01

Channel 1(Yellow) is I2C SCL, measurement start at last positive edge of transaction

Channel 2(Green) is HPD3

Both Ts1 and Ts2 are around 165ns

Thanks for taking good data.

Can't you capture same timing with I2C SDA also? I didn't make sure which timing the event was triggered, "Slave's ACK" or "STOP bit".
