Looking for recommended replacement to NXP P/N VBUS54CV-HSF?

The TPDxE05U06 as lower performances as has only 

±12-kV Contact Discharge

– ±15-kV Air Gap Discharge

NXP device has 

± 30 kV contact discharge

± 30 kV air discharge

    The TPDxE05U06 is probably the best selection with respect to competing with the line capacitance and leakage current of the vbus54cvhsf. Unfortunately, as you have stated, the device is rated for 12/15 kV.

    Alternatively, the TPD2E2U06 could be used for higher IEC ratings, rated for 25/30 kV. This is a 2-channel device though, so there would need to be additional real-estate available on the board for a second ESD chip. Our line capacitance is 0.3 pF larger than that of the vbus54cvhsf, but this should still be suitable for the application. Hope this helps!
