Once upon a time, these suffixes allowed you to order lead-free or green chips. But nowadys, all chips a fully green*, so there is no difference.

* this does not describe the actual color (as far as I'm aware of TI's plans)

Ryan, Clemens is correct. They were to signify "green" chips, but now all of these devices are the same.
