TPS65986EVM: Display Alternate Mode

Hi,

We are using TPS65986 EVM with DP Expansion board and trying to send DP data using Type c to a display.

the display is not working properly Need information on how to configure the PD for 2 line DP in alternate mode.

Hi Rajeshnag,

If you open the TPS6598x Application Customizer, you can click on Open-> New Project. There you will find many firmware templates that can be used for your application. Simply Filter the TPS65986, the port type, and the features you would like and a firmware template will appear. Once you load that template, you can flash the app firmware onto the device.

Thank you.

But the actual scenario in our case is we have mobile and trying to reflect the mobile display on the end using PD controller and Toshiba EDP to MIPI DSI Converter.

if you want anything more let me know.

also in the tool, if I select the template this error is coming every time.

We are aware of this bug with the Application Customization tool and are working on releasing a fix. However, in the meantime, you can access the fixed templates at the link below:
