Hi,

I have a question for skew of DS25BR440.

Our customer is looking for repeater or retimer.

They are concerned about data skew.

There is an Intra Pair Skew at datasheet of retimer DS110DF410, but there is not it at DS25BR440.

Can I know the Intra Pair Skew of DS25BR440?

There is no description of other repeater products as well, is there any reason?

Hi,

The typical channel to channel skew for this device is <25 ps. In many cases the actual measurement is <10ps.

I could understand the channle to chnannel skew.
How long time is skew between positive and negative input of same channnel?

Hi Tomoaki,

The data that has been collected is all "differential". This makes it difficult to directly understand how the individual signal components are varying. If I look a propagation delay differences between the differential TPHL and TPLH measurements I find that they average ~ 5ps. Since each differential measurement is a combination of the out+ and out- signals it suggests that the individual components are typically matched to ~ 5ps.
