DS90CR288A: Query over LVDS to RGB data transmission

Part Number: DS90CR288A

From the Datasheet of DS90CR288A its understood that the strobe Signal helps to output the parallel data at the same time.

In that case for LVDS to RGB display interface whether the VSYNC, HSYNC and DE can be connected to the Parallel dataline itself?

  • Hi Pavithra,

There may be some confusion about what a "strobe" is. The DS90CR288A always strobes on the clock's rising edge, which means that the parallel outputs for the DS90CR288A are meant to be sampled at the time of the output clock's rising edge.

The RGB outputs and the VSYNC, HSYNC, and DE are meant to be connected to the parallel outputs, with the most common mapping shown in the following app note in Table 1: www.ti.com/.../snla014.pdf
