DS90CF384A: Replacement of THC63LVDF84C

Hello,

Can I replace the THC64LVDF84C by DS90CF384A if the PCLK is 20~65MHz?

I checked the pin assignment of these devices.
Then the RxOUT pin assigns are little difference between these device.
Are these device mapping same mapping?

Best Regards,
Ryuji

  • Hi Ryuji-san,

Yes, if the PCLK range for this application remains within 20-65 MHz, the DS90CF384A can be used as a replacement for the TH63LVDF84C.

The pinout is identical. Thine uses RA, RB, RC, and RD to describe bits that are mapped to LVDS Channels A, B, C, and D. TI uses a pin assignment that enumerates from RxOUT0 to RxOUT27. If you compare the pins and where they are mapped within the LVDS channels, you will find that they are the same.

    Regards,
