TMDS442: Updated HDMI 2.0 Splitter Device

My customer is looking for a HDMI 2.0 Splitter, and an older E2E post led me to the TMDS442 as an option but I see that it only supports HDMI 1.3a. Is there any updated device that allows us to take a single HDMI 2.0 input and drive two HDMI 2.0 outputs? Alternately, if we can't, how would you best recommend we do this?

Hi Alec,

We don't have a spliter for HDMI2.0, we don't even have a recommendation for this application.
The customer could try at its own risk placing two TMDS181 one on each PCB layer, having the distance from the vias to the TMDS181 very short.
Again, we haven't tested it, if the customer wants to try it, it is at their own risk.

Besides, the customer would need to configure the two displays independently to set TMDS_CLOCK_RATIO to HDMI2.0(1/40) but use only one DDC to configure the resolution.
