DP83867IS: "AUTO-NEGOTIATION ENABLE" bit of Basic Mode Control Register (BMCR)

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows the following about AUTO-NEGOTIATION ENABLE.

I believe both bit 13 and 6 set the port speed however it shows only SPEED SELECTION LSB (bit 13) is ignored when auto negotiation enabled.
Does it show SPEED SELECTION MSB (bit 6) isn't ignored when auto negotiation enabled?

Hi Aniruddha-san,

I believe it is impossible to configure the PHY for forced speed and duplex operation when AUTO-NEGOTIATION ENABLE=1.
Is my understanding correct?
I would like to confirm just in case.
