Dears,
About the layout impedance in datasheet for Tx, it is 100-ohm, but for the Rx impedance, it is from 80~120 ohm.
1. customer mentioned that is it possible to use 85-ohm for Tx and Rx?
2. what is the tolerance of the impedance for the differential trace?
Thanks.
Hi,
Yes it is okay to use 85 ohm target impedance for the input and output traces on your PCB design.
The impedance tolerance of most PCB designs is +/- 10%.
The datasheet electrical table:
1. Says the typical output impedance is 100 Ohms.
2. Says the measured input resistance is 80-120 Ohms.
3. Says the typical input resistance is 100 Ohms.

Lee
