In the reference design TIDA-00287 , all shields are directly connected to ground. However, in the EVM TUSB8020BPHP, the shields are tied together, and also to ground using an RC filter.
If I am making what is essentially a usb powered hub (much like the TIDA-000287), which shield grounding scheme is recommended and why?
PS. The upstream port is connected to a battery-powered body-worn computer, and the downstream device is a camera.
