Hello Team,
I can see the "FTDI-based adapter" on Application Report, "Using a TPS6598x EVM to Emulate USB Type-C and
Power Delivery Products".
Could you tell me the detail of FTDI-based adapter?

Hello Yamashita-san,
The FTDI is the same form factor as the TPS65982-EVM and can be connected onto the TPS65982-EVM to configure it or read back registers during run time. The FTDI is connected through the boosterpack pins on the TPS65982-EVM. The FTDI board is a USB to SPI adapter that is used to write to the SPI flash on the EVMs. the FTDI also has an I2C interface that is used to read back registers using the Host Interface Tool during run time.
I attached an image of the FTDI as well as the TPS65982-EVM connected to the FTDI for your reference.
Thank you,
Eric
Hi Eric,
Thanks. My customer would like to evaluate TPS62952-EVM with this, how do they get this one?
