   Could TCA8418 support multi keys press at the same time? If yes,is there any special configuration for this application?

    Hi Nick,

    Yes, this is possible. If the device is configured to be used with a key pad array, though, then there are certain combinations of keys that can result in "ghosting" or mis-interpreted key presses. There is a description of this in the datasheet in Section 9.1.1 (beginning on page 37). As long as care is taken to prevent such key presses (e.g., through keypad layout) then there shouldn't be issues related to simultaneous key presses. If the device is configured to be used with general-purpose inputs not arranged in an array, then there are no special considerations.
