Hi all,

My customer need TPS65983A FW v4.23 bin by Intel's request to solve their charging current issue on their design. But I can't find that on GUI official released. (GUI 2.12: FW v3.61/3.71/4.19, GUI 2.14: v4.25, GUI 2.16: V4.29) Would you please helping to provide that for me? Thanks.

Hi Gary,

I can supply you with FW 4.23 bin. However the new FW 4.31 bin will be released soon which will also solve the charging current issue.

If you still require the FW 4.23 bin => What is your offline email?

My customer has gotten FW 4.23 bin. Thanks for your kindly help.
BTW, they know 983A has new version FW but intel ask them to use 4.23. FYI.

Hi Jeff,
Customer test FW 4.23 and has PD communication issue with TI's 982 EVM and some window base NB (But works good with MBP). Is any FW upgrade required for EVM or test equipment to test FM 4.23 for customer's production test?

Hi Gary,

Sorry for the very late reply. I recommend using the latest version of the tool 2.18.1, this however uses the latest FW 4.33 by default. Please let me know how I can further assist with this issue.
