Dear Sir 

May I know this soft start function support DFP or UFP ??

Or both of DFP and UFP support??

Due to below describe sink ,I confuse this mean UFP ??

    Hi Kai,

    Source and Sink are referring to the current power role of the device. A Source will be the provider of power and a Sink will be the consumer of power. DFP and UFP are strictly related to data roles only. As such, a Source can be a DFP or a UFP. Likewise, a Sink can be a DFP or a UFP.
    In conclusion, the soft start function supports both DFP and UFP.
