Hi team,

My customer asks following questions as to TUSB7320.
The customer will use TUSB7320 on linux 3 environment.

Please let me know the answers.

(1) When TUSB7320 is controlled by linux, can we recognize TUSB7320 from OS side only by
power up of 3.3V and 1.1V?

(2) Do I need a special driver to control TUSB7320?

(3) I enable xHCI configration.
Do I need other specal activiation control for TUSB7320?

(4) I connect TUSB7320 PERST and GRST to host side PCIE PRESET.
Do I need a special software to control TUSB7320 under this connection?

Hello,
1. Yes, you have to power the device on, you also have to meet the power-up sequence described on Section 9 in the datasheet.
2. No, it uses the generic linux driver for xHCI.
3. No, the xHCI driver should configure all the required settings on the TUSB7340.
4. The TUSB7340 is non-functional when GRST# is asserted, you have to meet the power-up sequence described on datasheet.
