DS110DF410: About Power Supply Current

Hi,

Customer is confirming the power supply current . Then, I have two questions.

Q1

Please let me know how much inrush current is expected during VDD power up for DS110DF410.

Q2

Is there any way to reduce the max transient power supply current,610mA(max)?

    Q1:  The typical in-rush current is 500mA when all four channels have a valid but unlocked input signal at their inputs.  The maximum is 610mA.

    Q2: By immediately configuring the DF410 into a low power mode on powerup and then enabling one channel at a time, the maximum transient current could be reduced.  The maximum current per channel roughly doubles during lock aquisition.  Limiting one channel at a time to lock would reduce the maximum current to < 400 mA
