Hi,
I have an evaluation board for the DP83640 and have been trying to use National semiconductors analog launch pad program to connect to the phy via the USB port. I have downloaded the drivers and tried to connect on multiple computers without luck.
We have been trying to ping a pic32 Ethernet starter kit II (over copper ethernet) by removing the LAN8740 Phy daughter board and running jumper wires between the pic32 ethernet starter kit and the dp83640 evaluation board. we have read through all of the appropriate strappings in the datasheet but when we tried to connect to the dp83640 eval board from our windows 7, we are unable to connect. we have also tried this with 3 of the same PHY evaluation boards.
